Environmental Project Manager View More
Summit is seeking a project level environmental project manager. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years experience managing various remediation projects including Site Assessment, Remedial Feasibility Study, Remedial System and Process Engineering Design, Construction Management, Phase I Assessment, Technical Report Writing, Financial Management, and Scheduling. Additional consideration will be given to experience in groundwater and Environmental Impact Assessment.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in environmental, chemical, or civil engineering from a recognized institution
- A minimum of 5 years experience in remediation projects
- Relevant Professional Designation (Canada)
- Technical background in groundwater remediation and hazardous waste type projects.

Summit Liability Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Reclamation & Remediation Division as a Senior Environmental Specialist (Contractor or Contract Employee) for Dilly Creek, NE British Columbia.
The Job:
Summit currently has a “camp based” position in NE British Columbia. The work rotation for this position is 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out. Summit compensates the successful candidate for travel expenses (flight or driving) from the areas of Calgary, Edmonton, Fort St. John or NE BC.
You will be supported by the entire Summit organization which consists of a dynamic Team of technical administrators, business development professionals, an in house IT department and many other highly experienced, skilled and educated Professionals. You will report directly to the Regional Manager and Manager, Reclamation & Remediation who are based out of Calgary, AB.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Candidates must be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary project team environment
- Ability to undertake a variety of project-related tasks related to remediation/spills
- Minimum 5 years direct oil and gas experience
- Knowledge of British Columbia regulations
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Drilling waste management experience (an asset)
- Knowledge of British Columbia regulations (an asset)
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills

Summit Liability Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Drilling Waste Management Division as SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIST, Drilling Operations (Grande Prairie Region) in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
The Job
Summit currently has employees in place in the region and Summit is committed to growing the region in business and staff. The SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIST duties will be based on four (4) components: Operations, Financial, People and Customer Sales/Maintenance. You will carry out your duties in consultation with the Summit Executive on all matters.
The SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIST is responsible for sampling, daily updates from the field, creating and updating SOP’s including compliance and efficiency, safety adherence, field technician liaison and trainer as well as leading and training internal staff as Summit grows and expands this area of services in our company.
